Victoria (18) ,coming from the Navajo Nation but she grew up in the Pacific Northwest, has dedicated most of her life to community service. A proud Girl Scout of 13 years. Victoria earned her Silver Award by creating an alternative way to using plastic bags.Victoria also was a youth leader in a community group called Community Inclusion Program (C.I.P.) where she helped facilitate leadership activities for youth of all abilities. She became involved in her Middle and High School’s Native American Program which helped Victoria become more involved in the Native American Community at her school and she learned about the social, physical and mental issues indigenous peoples are currently dealing with. Victoria hopes to become an advocate for the Native American community.
